About the Bag:
The Viper-R is a unique combination of two of the best materials in cornhole. The fast side is the same as the renowned Ultra Viper and the slow side is a new hybrid-carpet material that is perfect for cutting and rolling bags, yet it is forgiving when throwing a bag that isn’t always flat. This bag is very friendly around the hole and excellent for airmails. Viper-R is thrown by top ACL Pro players like 2004 #1 ranked singles player, Rookie of the Year and MVP, Jeremiah Ellis as well as players like 4 time Open Singles Champion Devon Harbaugh.

- Very quick. Too quick for most. But a great hole magnet if you get it close.

Great forgiveness and a hole magnet. Still has a good feel in the hand.
Durability Rating: 8.5
Probably the most durable bag we’ve ever produced. However, the fast side is prone to snagging. The fibers of the fabric are super strong and when they catch onto a splinter they pull out of the fabric instead of breaking. This will not cause the bag to fall apart but it will look like a line in the bag. We do not warranty fiber pull outs so be sure the boards you play on are smooth on all edges.
About Speed Ratings: Speed of bags is strongly dependent on the humidity level and the type of fabric. Cotton or duck bags will generally be very fast in hot/dry conditions and slow in cold/damp conditions. Synthetic fabric such as polyester will play much quicker in cold/damp conditions and is generally more predictable. Speed rating of “0” means the bag is so sticky that the bag will not move even when the board is tilted at a 60° angle. Speed rating of “10” means the bag will slowly move down the board at regulation board angle of 11°.
About Looseness Rating: Looseness is based on the stiffness of the fast side fabric. A tighter weave will generally produce a stiffer bag. Looseness rating of “0” means the bag is very stiff and is highly likely to clog the hole. A Looseness rating of “10” means the bag will slip into the smallest opening if the fast side speed rating is high.
ALERT!!! If you boil or overheat your bags, we will know because they will have shrunk!!! You void your warranty if you overheat your bags!!!

Why are the white and green the blue and white so much more difference then the red and white The red ones are nothing like the other 2 the designs different they throw different they land different Still a good bag I still use them

There are no differences between the Viper-R’s stamped with 2021-22 (Red release and Navy release) and the 2023 stamped models (Red/White, Light Blue/White, Green/White). The only difference would be time. The 2021-22 stamped models are made to the same specs with the same materials. Older bags tend to be thrown more, often are dirtier and simply more “broken-in”. There is no faster way to to get them to be the same. You need to throw the newer bags more and in the same places/conditions if you want to catch them up to what the older ones play like.

When you hold the Viper R in your hand you feel the difference in quality. It just feels right, also the stitching is the best that I’ve seen. So close to the edge, its great.

If you have been living under a rock and haven’t thrown the Viper R, you do not know what you’re missing! The hype of these bags is real! They are one of the most versatile bags that come out of my Zuca. Their popularity speaks for itself. The slow side on this bag is the most speed stable slow side of any bag I’ve ever thrown in varying weather conditions. Are they the best in every condition? No. There are times when other bags from Ultra will do it a little better. But this is my most used bag.

Have had these bags for about a month and played them in approximately 25 games. I’m not an Ultra fan boi, but I am a huge fan of these bags. The hand feel, hole friendliness, predictable slide, lack of bounce, and resistance to humidity / changing conditions is all top notch.
I have bags from 9 other bag companies but I almost don’t see a need to bring any other bags with me. I keep 4 sets of bags in my backpack and 3 of them never see the light of day.
I played an 8 game blind draw tournament this past weekend and every one of my partners wanted to play the Viper R’s.
