The legendary Viper-R’s truth is that its hybrid carpet slow side is the best fabric in the game of cornhole. Now you can get that same fabric combined with our incredible Myth fast side. This creates a bag with just a little more speed than a regular Myth on the slow side and a little more speed than your trusty Viper-R on the fast side. When you need a little more speed, Myth-R is the perfect fit!

About the Bag:
The Myth-R’s fast side has a little more speed than Viper material, but it’s not out of control! The feel is perfect and it plays great across a wider range of conditions. By combining this quicker (9 speed) fast side with the venerable Viper-R hybrid carpet slow side, the Myth-R becomes an awesome new bag that can run the hole with the best of the best, even when things get sticky!
Myth-R features Tribrid™ fill, giving the bag a perfect in-hand feel and reducing the “kick” upon impact. Our Seam-Lok™ technology has been optimized so the bag will stay together and hold it’s shape while breaking-in to become one of our slinkiest bags to date. All this is sewn up in our mid-sized template to blend the legendary forgiveness of Ultra Bags with enhanced playability. You’ll have the power to write your own myths with the Myth-R in your hands.
Speed Rating: 9/5
- Fast Side Speed Rating (Cold/Damp): 8
- Cuts through heavy moisture like the Vapor bag.
- Fast Side Speed Rating (Hot/Dry): 9+
- Very quick. Too quick for most. But a great hole magnet if you get it close.
- Slow Side Speed Rating (Cold/Damp): 5
- Switch to the Viper if too slow.
- Slow Side Speed Rating (Hot/Dry): 6
- More stick for blocking, cutting, rolling and flop shots.
Looseness Rating: 9.0
Great forgiveness and a hole magnet. Still has a good feel in the hand. The template size is optimized for playability and collectability.
Durability Rating: 9.0
The Myth-R is super durable. It’s more snag resistant on the fast side than some of our other bags, however, the fast side may still snag from time to time. The fibers of the fabric are super strong and when they catch onto an edge, they may pull out of the fabric instead of breaking. This will not cause the bag to fall apart, but it will sometimes cause a “run” or a white line in the fabric. We do not warranty fiber pull outs, so be sure the boards you play on are smooth on all edges.
About Speed Ratings: Speed of bags is strongly dependent on the humidity level and the type of fabric. Cotton or duck bags will generally be very fast in hot/dry conditions and slow in cold/damp conditions. Synthetic fabric such as polyester will play much quicker in cold/damp conditions and is generally more predictable. Speed rating of “0” means the bag is so sticky that the bag will not move even when the board is tilted at a 60° angle. Speed rating of “10” means the bag will slowly move down the board at regulation board angle of 11°.
About Looseness Rating: Looseness is based on the stiffness of the fast side fabric. A tighter weave will generally produce a stiffer bag. Looseness rating of “0” means the bag is very stiff and is highly likely to clog the hole. A Looseness rating of “10” means the bag will slip into the smallest opening if the fast side speed rating is high.
ALERT!!! If you boil or overheat your bags, we will know because they will have shrunk!!! You void your warranty if you overheat your bags!!!
