2022 National College Cornhole Championships
It was a huge start to the New Year for Ultra scoring 2 National College Cornhole Championships in Myrtle Beach, SC! The American Cornhole League‘s NCCC put college cornhole players on TV competing for scholarship money in front of a nationwide audience on ESPN2. New and returning schools were looking take home the championships in Doubles, Singles and Teams.
National College Corhnole Singles Championships:
The National College Cornhole Championships are split into Singles, Doubles and Teams. In Singles, Kole Brewer from Indiana State notched the win in impressive fashion knocking off Chris Fagen who had been on a tear coming off a an Open Doubles bracket second place finish in Virginia Beach. The Sycamore’s Brewer looked powerful in his national TV debut winning two big games to capture the title. Kole tossed a combination of Ultra Viper-Bs and Psycho-X in the tournament.
Doubles Championships:
Doubles featured South Carolina’s Avery Snipes and Angel Camanera who battled through some tough doubles teams. They clinched the victory over Reid Palmer and Tyler Davis tossing Ultra Cornhole Vipers. The quick material and hole friendliness of the Viper is unmatched. South Carolina Gamcocks, Snipes and Camanera deftly utilized the Ultra bags becoming the 2022 National College Cornhole Champions.
All of these players shot Ultra bags without sponsorship. We appreciate when players choose to throw Ultra and especially when they perform at this level! As a thank you each of these champions received special edition, one of a kind bags in their school colors along with the “National Champion” inscription to commemorate their victories!
