About the Bag:Â
The Butter-fly has the the Butter fast side which is approximately a 10 on a quick board. Slow side is the hybrid carpet found on the slow side of Viper-R and Widow-R. It is about a 4-6 depending on conditions. This bag does not require break-in. Just throw it for a few games and you are good. Players who play Butter-fly usually have a great command of a fast bag and can use the hyper-quick fast-side to slip through gaps and push through blocks very well. The slow-side hybrid carpet allows this player to better place blocks and work situational shots.  Â

About Speed Ratings: Speed of bags is strongly dependent on the humidity level and the type of fabric.  Cotton or duck bags will generally be very fast in hot/dry conditions and slow in cold/damp conditions. Synthetic fabric such as polyester will play much quicker in cold/damp conditions and is generally more predictable.  Speed rating of “0” means the bag is so sticky that the bag will not move even when the board is tilted at a 60° angle.  Speed rating of “10” means the bag will slowly move down the board at regulation board angle of 11°.
About Looseness Rating: Looseness is based on the stiffness of the fast side fabric. A tighter weave will generally produce a stiffer bag. Looseness rating of “0” means the bag is very stiff and is highly likely to clog the hole. A Looseness rating of “10” means the bag will slip into the smallest opening if the fast side speed rating is high.
ALERT!!! If you boil or overheat your bags, we will know because they will have shrunk!!! You void your warranty if you overheat your bags!!!

Fresh out the bag, these bags move very nicely. I throw vipers, but after trying these, I ordered another set! They are unique and versatile when it comes to moving around the board! The carpet side sets as an excellent blocker. The butter side shoots differently than normal butters. They have more substance. Allowing you to get a nice grip to toss evenly. I must buy for anyone who is taking there game to the professional level!! Enjoy..

For my most recent league, I’ve used viper r until the tournament. Finished as the 2 seed. Beat the 1 seed 21-0 in the kings seat and they played with viper r. We switched to the butterfly for the tourney. Combined ppr 17.5 on the night. We deemed our viper r and viper b obsolete. The bags push hard on the fast side. They roll exactly where you want them. They push through anything. The slow side is viper r material and I love it. The fast side is like a slow drip into the hole. Awesome hand feel. These are easily the best bags I’ve ever thrown.
