Meet The 2025 Team Ultra ACL Pros

Meet the 2025 ACL Pro and Elite Team Ultra

Team Ultra

Team Ultra is BACK. That’s the theme for the 2024-2025 Season. The entire ACL Pro Pro Team is composed of return Team Ultra players. The dedication of our Team Players led to strong overall performance and break out stars in 2024. Rather than reinventing the wheel, Ultra Cornhole has doubled down on key pieces as we chase championships in 2025.

Checkout our Pro and Elite players here:

Top Dawgs

Team Ultra had a huge 2023-24 Pro Season. Led by break out rookie Jeremiah Ellis and standout veteran Devon Harbaugh, Team Ultra secured numerous titles and strong finishes throughout the season. The big dawgs are fixin’ to eat this year with some shakeups on the team.

Jeremiah Ellis took the ACL by storm. In what was deemed “The Match of the Year” Ellis won his first Open championship just before heading into the pro season. He finished 2024 with 2 National Singles Titles and a National Doubles Title en route to his #1 Pro Singles and #1 Pro Doubles rankings. All that effort won him the 2024 Rookie of the Year AND the ACL’s MVP awards! Ellis played the Viper-R all season. The hybrid carpet slow-side gave him the edge he was looking for.

Devon Harbaugh on the other side of that was right there it seemed. He was featured on broadcasts in Canton, Las Vegas and Milwaukee. He finished the pro season ranked 4th in Pro Doubles and 6th in Pro Singles. It was on the Open Tour that Harbaugh really shined. He won 3 Singles Championships on the Open circuit and nearly won his 4th in Canton. Harbaugh was money all year. He switched from the Viper-R after his first Open win having taken a liking to the Viper-X. The Viper-X with it’s herringbone slow-side worked so well for Harbaugh. Harbaugh is known to have all the shots and his ability to manipulate the angles of the bag really is accentuated when throwing the herringbone of the Viper-X. He picked up where he left off last season and tossed Viper-X to his first Pro Title to start the 2024-25 season!

So what do two of the game’s top stars do for an encore? They join forces in the off season with the goal of winning a world championship. This should be big for Team Ultra and it puts them on everyone’s pre-season favorite lists.

How does Team Ultra top that? Chris Kingsbury and Alan Rawls resign with Ultra! Kingsbury and Rawls had a huge end to the season. They make the finals in Canton and then make the finals in both USA Doubles and Pro Doubles at the World Championships. The long time duo finishes 10th in Pro Doubles and enters the 2024-25 Pro Season as one of the longest tenured doubles teams. 2025 will be their 3rd season together and they just keep getting better.

New Faces

The fresh faces of Team Ultra for the 2025 Season are call ups from our Advanced Team. Clayton Kennedy joins the pro ranks after winning the Mid Atlantic Conference Qualifier. Clayton is a talented thrower from Virginia that figures to at least bust a few brackets as he looks to make an impact as a rookie ACL Pro. Kennedy plays the venerable Viper-X. The bag works well for him as he commands the various tilts and angles to work in tight spaces. His control is phenomenal and lead to him winning Advanced Doubles at the ACL’s World Championships in 2024.

The second fresh face for 2025 is the young Anthony Eastridge. Eastridge is a beast in the ACL Junior Pro Division. He combined with Kennedy to win that Advanced Doubles World Championship last season. That was just one of his huge accomplishments as he also won Junior Singles at the ACL’s 2024 Kickoff Battle in West Palm Beach, FL. Eastridge hails from Chesapeake, VA and is still in high school. He is considering playing cornhole in college when he graduates.

Juniors

Back with Ultra for the third season is Jayden Ellis. Ellis really stepped into his own last season winning the Hamilton, OH Open Singles title. Jayden has been a consistent force in the Junior/Elite and Pro divisions since that breakout performance resulting in him winning the Top Amateur award in 2024. This season with the Junior Pro Division starting, Ellis is looking to make a strong run at the new division for players like him.

Joining Ellis will be Anthony Eastridge. Eastridge, a high school senior is looking to carry the momentum of his 2024 season into the 2025 season. He and Ellis got out to a great start in their first tournament together. They picked up an overall 2nd in Junior Doubles at Open #2 in Iowa.

Seniors

In the senior division, Terry Mathis returns for his 4th season on the Pro Tour. Mathis has been a strong performer in the Senior Division. He picked up 2 Open Senior Singles wins in 2024 while finishing 2nd in Senior Singles at the World Championships in August. We are excited to have “Papaw” back.

Players to Watch

Here are a few players to watch this season on Team Ultra:

Chris Roybal quickly made a name for himself in his rookie season. He spent most of the season just off TV but making deep runs that had him flirting with top 10 in Pro Singles rankings. Chris ultimately landed at 14th out of 250 Pros to cap his rookie season putting him ahead of the 2022-23 MVP and the GOAT. Not bad company for a kid from Arizona who started the season with one of the most unique pre-shot routines in the game.

Ryan Hart has shown absolute dominance in his 2 years on tour. He made a broadcast in 2023 and finished 3rd in his bracket at the World Championships as a rookie. In 2024 he partnered with Jeremiah Ellis and won his first National Championship in Pro Doubles. Hart is definitely a player to watch. He can roll, cut and airmail with the best. When he is cooking, there are few who might be better. For the 2024-25 pro season, Hart is going to partner with Roybal. Both players play their best when they have a little chip on their shoulder. Will they be able to put it together and make that run? Time will tell but we know both players will bring everything in their bag to prove they belong at the top.

Team Ultra has two vets to round out the 2024-25 Team. Corey Morrison had a bounce back year in 2023-24. The big man from Kentucky looks to get that Kingsford charcoal burning in his heart for 2025. He is playing with Terry Mathis. The Bluegrass State legends will be fun to watch. Mike Ferreira is back as well. Mike had an up and down 2023-24 season. His 32nd ranking in doubles wasn’t indicative of his skill. The 2024-25 campaign will be a “prove it” season for Ferreira as he partners with rookie Clayton Kennedy. This will be Ferreira’s best partner in terms of shot making after spending the last couple seasons playing alongside elite racers. If Ferreira’s experience and maturity can come through, he and Kennedy should be a force.

What’s Next?

Next up for the Pros will be the ACL’s 3rd Open in Little Rock, AK taking place November 1st thru 3rd. The first Signature (National) event of 2025 will be in Florida April 4th thru 6th. You can follow our pros on our facebook page or their own social media platforms.
