We have integrated over 10 years of board building experience and innovation into our NEW Ultra Hybrid Cornhole Boards. The biggest advancement this board offers is the weather-resistant plastic top with printed graphics. These tops are built to withstand sprinklers, rain, and dew with minimal weathering. Ultra has paired the plastic tops with our customer favorite marine-grade Baltic Birch frames to promise our traditional board stiffness. Featuring the Quad-Grid Backplate with added structural bracing to create maximum stiffness on the playing surface, the Hybrid brings quality play you can depend on. The new patent pending Ultra Grips™ will keep the Hybrid Cornhole Boards exactly where you place them!

About the deck thickness:  The Hybrid offers our customers a 1/2″ plastic top paired with a 1/2″ Baltic Birch plywood deck overhang. We utilize mechanical engineering to better optimize the Hybrid for weight, global stiffness, and local stiffness by strengthening our overhang with wood. At the same time, we don’t believe our customers should have to compromise longevity for strength. To combat this, we selected an incredibly durable plastic that allows for full printing and extreme weather resistance. The Hybrid is built to last. 

About the Quad-Grid Backplate: We have implemented four full-length continuous ribs that are bonded to the deck and fastened to adjacent plywood parts. This structure creates four  beams running through the length of the board to maximize stiffness. Tying everything together is a partial back sheet (Quad-Grid Backplate) that completes the I-beam and boosts the global stiffness of the board. You’ll find some smaller cross braces in key areas, such as right below the hole, that provide local stiffness improvements in common areas of concern.
