Ultra Viper-RS vs. The Ultra Min. Bag Checker

The Ultra Min. Bag Checker is a novel iteration of the popular “H” bag checking tool but ours is specifically checking minimums and includes the diagonal. It uses a novel 13mm plastic material and helpful graphics.  Minimum (or “Min.”) in engineering is generally the smallest something can be. In our world, the ACL limits the minimum bag thickness, width and diagonal dimensions and anything below these min. limits are deemed non-compliant or “illegal”. A “small template” bag is thought to push these limits.  Below are the ACL bag regulation minimum limits that this tool is designed to check:

• Width/Height: 5.75″
• Thickness: 1.10″
• Diagonal: 7.5″ new and 7.3″ after the bag is broken in. We simply measure 7.3″ here as 7.5″ really isn’t applicable to the players.

The Viper-RS™ has been engineered to be the smallest template possible while allowing for some break-in dimensional changes such as thickness and corner-to-corner reduction. The Viper-RS™ is basically a slightly smaller Viper-R™ with a few key changes including a new Tribrid™ fill and Seam-Lok™ technology.  This tool can verify these important minimums are not breached which would make a bag illegal for play in the ACL.
